Meeting Minutes

The Meeting - was held at the Mayfield Twp Hall

Networking – 5:00 PM doors open, set up, sign in, and pay dues

Potluck – 6:00 PM Glen called the meeting to order, everyone enjoyed it. 

Business Meeting – 6:27 Glen started the business meeting. There was no treasurer’s report because of having a speaker.

 February Minutes – There were no corrections to the minutes. Teresa Dillon made a motion to accept, Pat Maitland seconded it.  Membership voted and the motion passed.

Garden Tours – July we still need gardens. The August tour will be at Sandy Vukonich’s home. If we don’t receive a volunteer for July, the options are Suncrest Master Gardeners Gardens with a potluck at the pavilion if available or not have a meeting for July.

Next Meeting – May 1st, Mayfield Twp Hall, Esther Benedict, Crevice Gardening. Please note we will start the meeting at 5:00 PM with our potluck, and immediately after we will have Esther’s presentation.

June 12th meeting – Mayfield Twp Hall, Susan Haddock, Down the Primrose Path and plant sale from Botanophilia. 

June 14th – tour Pace Gardens 10am – 8pm

Program – Bob Iiames, Diversify Your Landscape

EMHS 25th Anniversary pins and keychains are still available

Name Badge – if anyone need a new or replacement, please sign paper.

Announcements – Sunday April 13th, 2025, Jim Slezinski’s Daffodil Walk

MHS Spring Workshop at Hidden Lake Gardens, Saturday, May 17, 11:30 am – 3pm. Only 50 seats are available.

Master Gardener Society of Oakland County, Educational Garden Conference, Saturday, April 26, 2025, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm

Lapeer Master Gardeners will be having their workshop August 16th, $60.00.  Also, they are having a garden tour July 27th from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. Tickets $15.00 will be available for sale at Flowers by Carol
